Day 2οΈβ£ | Fishing + Kayaking + Oceanfront Walk π 8:00 AM β Met at Dockside Seafood & Fishing Center for a fishing trip π£ (recommend arriving 15 mins early!). $45 per person (pre-tax) β includes gear and bait. Super beginner-friendly β the crew teaches you everything with a smile π They move to different spots depending on where the fish are biting π I caught 3 small fish β released 2, kept 1. Some even caught baby sharks and flounder! π‘ Bring cash for tips! You can have your fish cleaned on board and even get it fried fresh at their restaurant! π½ Lunch at Dockside Restaurant: Ordered the Sunset Fish Platter β tender, Cajun-spiced, so flavorful! Clams Casino as an appetizer β we loved it so much we got a second order! π πΆ Afternoon: Booked a One Hour Double Kayak with Tula Adventure Sports ($60/boat, pre-tax). Wanted the dolphin tour but it was sold out π¬ Paddled through a marina full of yachts π€, then into open water β so free and relaxing! They provide dry bags β just ask and return after use! π¦ Saw a dog standing on a paddleboard with its owner β cutest thing ever! πβπ¦Ίβ€οΈ π Evening: Headed to Virginia Beach Oceanfront Meant to try happy hour oysters at The Atlantic on Pacific β fully booked π’ Ended up grabbing a light dinner (not worth recommending lol), then enjoyed the sea breeze and souvenir shops! Day 3οΈβ£ | Brunch + Zoo + Heading Home π³ Brunch at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store my roasted chicken was a bit overdone β maybe try another dish π Cozy country vibe though! π¦ Virginia Zoo πΎ Student ticket: only $12! Took about 2 hours to explore β small but very clean and well-kept.
