Virginia Beach 3 Days & 2 Nights｜Day 2 & 3 Full Recap

🕗 8:00 AM - Met at Dockside Seafood & Fishing Center for deep sea fishing 🎣 (recommend arriving 15 mins early). $45 per person (pre-tax), includes fishing gear and bait. Even beginners can enjoy—crew teaches you how to fish and everyone is super friendly! The boat moved to different spots further out to find more fish 🚤. I caught three small fish—released two and kept the biggest one! Some even caught small sharks and flounder 😲🦈! 💡 Tip: Bring cash for tips! After fishing, the crew cleans your catch, and you can have it fried fresh at their restaurant 🐟🍴. 🍽 Lunch at Dockside Restaurant: Highly recommend the Sunset Fish Platter—tender fish with Cajun seasoning, so flavorful! Appetizer: Clams Casino—so good we ordered a second round! 🛶 Afternoon: Booked a One-Hour Double Kayak with Tula Adventure Sports ($60/boat, pre-tax). Wanted the dolphin tour but it was sold out 🐬—so we took the regular route. Paddled through a marina full of yachts ⚓, then out into open water—so freeing! 💡 They provide dry bags—just ask the staff! Super handy 📦. Even saw a cute dog standing on a paddleboard with its owner 🐶❤️! 🌊 Evening: Headed to Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Wanted to try oyster happy hour at The Atlantic on Pacific but it was full 😅—so we skipped it. Enjoyed the sea breeze, took photos, and browsed souvenir shops along the shore 🏖️✨. Day 3️⃣｜Brunch + Zoo + Heading Home 🍳 Morning: Brunch at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. My grilled chicken was a bit overdone—maybe try other dishes 😉. Cozy country vibe overall! 🦝 Afternoon: Visited Virginia Zoo 🐾. Student tickets just $12! Took about 2 hours to explore—compact but very clean and well-kept. Highlights: adorable red pandas, otters, and a tapir (the mascot from the drama Beyond the River)!
