Virginia Beach Food Guide π¦ͺ
Spent a long weekend at VA Beach β though the weather was still a bit chilly by the coast π, so we basically ate and slept for three days! Surprisingly, the Chinese food and seafood there are absolutely top-notch β so delicious! π΄π π¦ͺπ¦ Seafood 1οΈβ£ The Atlantic A seafood spot highly recommended on β and it surprisingly lived up to the hype! Besides raw oysters (a bit salty) and clams, their grilled oysters are a must-try! Topped with cheese, spinach, and bacon β savory, rich, and aromatic! Their specials are also worth trying β we ordered the spicy soft-shell crab and lobster pasta, both were fantastic! π₯ 2οΈβ£ CP Shuckers Cafe and Raw Bar Super casual and authentic American vibe π, with huge portions! Raw oysters are cheap (12 for $18), but not as cleanly prepared as the first place. Their mussels cooked with wine and garlic were simple yet delicious β not heavy at all! We also tried the fish & chips and crab cakes β fresh and full of natural seafood flavor. ππ ππ± Chinese Food 1οΈβ£ Judyβs Sichuan Not overly heavy or oily β perfectly balanced flavors! Must-orders: Dry-Braised Eggplant π β that sauce is absolutely divine! Dry-Fried Pork Intestine β cleaned thoroughly and packed with flavor. Dan Dan Noodles β rich sesame aroma. Saliva Chicken (made with boneless chicken thighs π) with authentic Sichuan seasoning. 2οΈβ£ Noodle Man A cozy spot specializing in Lanzhou Hand-Pulled Noodles! The broth is authentic, and the beef portions are generous. ππ We also tried the Taiwanese tomato beef brisket noodles with pickled greens β delicious! They also offer Sichuan and Jiangzhe-style dim sum. π₯€ Bubble Tea 1οΈβ£ The Whale Tea Besides bubble tea, they serve adorable smiling egg waffles! π The bubble tea is decent β not extraordinary but satisfying. #VirginiaBeachEats #SeafoodLovers #ChineseFood #BubbleTea #FoodieGuide π½οΈπ
