TOCAG Art Gallery π¨ π Located in Nishi-Shinjuku πThe Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery is nestled within Tokyo Opera City. This is the gallery where Rinko Kawauchi once held her solo exhibition. The space is quite large, spanning two floors, and I've always had a great impression of it. π There's an art bookstore outside the gallery where I've purchased two photo albums in the past. Even if you're not there for an exhibition, it's worth a visit! π π The Current Exhibition ππ» "Glass Vessels and Still Life" πThis exhibition showcases the works of glass artist Yoko Yamano-Anderson and 18 other painters. The art of glass goes beyond the glassware we use daily; it encompasses a variety of expressive techniques. ππ The exhibition includes glass objects, still life paintings, photography, and video. It explores the connections between glass, photography, and painting. ππ By displaying everyday glassware in an art gallery, the exhibition blurs the lines between the ordinary and the artistic. π #Tokyo ππ
