Visited Momofuku — Opened by a Michelin Two-Star Chef 🍴
In Las Vegas for a volleyball tournament 🏐 Went out for a walk and dinner in the evening Originally, a super nice sales associate at Tiffany’s recommended Noodles at Bellagio (shoutout to that Hubei-born — she was lovely even though I couldn’t afford much, and she gave us Evian & Perrier on the way out! DM if you want her WeChat 😊) But the host at Noodles was pretty cold and said it’d be an hour wait 😒 So we turned right and started looking for food nearby Just a 5-minute walk to Cosmopolitan’s second floor — lots of restaurants there (Our team had STK the night before — expensive and meaty 🥩, will share that later) Found Momofuku online — great reviews! Run by Korean-American chef David Chang, famous for East Asian fusion cuisine. He’s even been on reality shows with John Legend’s wife — had to try it! 🍜 Spicy Ramen & Mushrooms: Pretty salty overall — but a pro told me that’s actually authentic ramen style. Still, even the mushrooms were salty… Soft-boiled egg was normal. 🥢 Pork Belly Buns: The star dish! Fatty but not greasy, with cucumber for freshness. The lean part wasn’t tough either — tasted like a duck wrap imitation. 🌶 Shishito Peppers: Loved these! Best blistered peppers I’ve had — smoky and seasoned with grilled salt. 🍹 Pandan Cocktail: Surprisingly refreshing — like rice wine with a hint of bamboo leaf. Even though it was just the two of us, the hostess gave us a window seat away from the crowd — quiet and nice view 👍 💰 About $50+ per person (the ramen portion was huge) 📍 Momofuku Boulevard Tower, 3708 Las Vegas Blvd S Level 2, Las Vegas, NV 89109 (Second floor of The Cosmopolitan) #HiddenGemRestaurant #GoodFinds #LasVegas #BellagioFountains #ShoppingInTheUS
