🌸 Visiting Asakusa Temple | A Day of Sightseeing and Eating,

Start the New Year with a Trip On the last day in Tokyo, we chose Asakusa Temple: πŸš‡ Conveniently accessible by subway express to the airport πŸ› The hot spring hotel is famous for its black soup, which is great for relieving fatigue πŸŽ‰ Lots of delicious food and fun activities πŸ“Œ Sightseeing Route: 🏯 Senso-ji Kannon Hall - Fortune Telling + Amulets - Nakamise Shopping Street - Treasure Gate + Five-Story Pagoda - Kaminarimon - Tokyo Skytree - Hai Di Lao in Ikebukuro ⛩️ Operating Hours of Asakusa Temple: 6:00-17:00 (6:30-17:00 from October to March) Open all year round, free admission. We first dropped off our luggage at the hotel, which would store our bags until check-in time and then place them directly in our rooms. The hotel is within walking distance to Asakusa Temple, very close. We followed the navigation and walked there. We first arrived at the Kannon Hall. If you have a stamp collection book, you can first go to the adjacent Daikokuten Hall to queue for a stamp. πŸ”– Daikokuten Amulet (a must-get for wealth and business prosperity!) is only available there! It's said that they often run out! Outside the Kannon Hall, you can draw lots and ask for various amulets. You can ask for the amulet that suits your wishes. Remember not to open the amulets you receive, hoping they will be filled with spiritual energy to protect you in the coming year. The shopping street has many souvenirs, memorabilia, and snack shops, which gave us a glimpse of the huge crowds! A variety of snacks line the street, but many of them feel very sweet. In Japan, I'm a bit hesitant to try them because I've tried and failed repeatedly πŸ˜‚, they are all very... sweet. However, being a huge fan of matcha, I chose to queue up at a matcha ice cream shop. It turned out to be a great choice πŸ˜‹. πŸ“ Taito District Β· Lei Yi Tea πŸ“Έ Kaminarimon is the main gate of Asakusa Temple, with a large lantern printed with the character , making it a great spot for photos and check-ins, with a cinematic feel. #Japan #Tokyo #TravelInJapan #Hotel #HotSpring #HiddenGemHotel #SoakingInHotSprings #HotelRecommendation #ChineseNewYear #HaiDiLao #HaiDiLaoStrategy #Matcha #MatchaLover #MatchaIceCream #AsakusaTemple #AmuletAtAsakusaTemple
