Visiting The Modern: A New York Michelin Experience 🌟

The Modern is renowned for its modern French cuisine. Before the meal, I wanted to order champagne. I tried to trick the waiter by saying I was already 21 and even mentioned I was born in 2005, hoping he would be confused. But he directly called the manager to verify my age! I had no choice but to order a non-alcoholic mocktail. 🥤 1️⃣ Smoked Sturgeon with White Asparagus Tower A pretty decent finger food to start with. 🍔 2️⃣ Chilled Tuna with Foie Gras, Served with Smoked Mushroom Vinaigrette This dish was a bit of a disaster—way too salty, which completely overshadowed the flavor of the tuna. It was like a giant bomb of saltiness! 🤢 3️⃣ Lobster in Court Bouillon, with New Potatoes, Fava Beans, and Hazelnuts The Maine lobster was incredibly fresh, and the lobster was cooked just right—neither too old nor too rubbery. I highly recommend this dish! 🦞 4️⃣ Passion Fruit Cake A delightful end to the meal. 🍰 Overall, it was still a pretty good experience, despite the unfortunate appetizer. The service was top-notch. The staff noticed my passion for food and even invited me into the kitchen to meet the chef. We had a great chat! 👨‍🍳 And the best part? Dining here grants you free entry to MoMA, saving you the cost of a ticket! 🎉 #NewYork 🌃🌟
