Visiting the Singapore Presidential Palace 🏛️🌿

To better understand and enjoy the cool air conditioning on a hot day, 🌸🍃 I joined a guided tour of the main building. 🌇 It costs 4 dollars for adults and 2 dollars for children. The most memorable part was learning that the colonial architect didn't do a good job with the budget when building the palace. 🌸🍃 In short, they ran out of money and had to cut costs on "labor." 🌇This reminded me of a topic my brother's school assigned for a recent PowerPoint presentation: why their ethnic group came to Singapore early on and what contributions they made. 🌸🍃 That's when I learned the term "coolie." #Singapore 🌇🌟
