Wait… What Kind of Museum Is This?! A Collector’s Dream Come True 🎭🌍

On my last day in Santa Fe, I decided to use my New Mexico CulturePass—a super worth-it deal at $30 per person that gives you access to over a dozen museums and attractions across the state, valid for a whole year! 🎟️✨ I randomly chose the Museum of International Folk Art without really knowing what to expect. “Folk art”? Sounded interesting, but I wasn’t prepared for what was inside! When I arrived, there was less than an hour until closing. The staff was incredibly kind—they waved off my pass and said, “Just come in! You won’t have enough time to see everything today, so save your pass for another visit.” (Each attraction can be visited once per day with the pass.) At first, the entrance felt calm and modest… but then I stepped into the main hall. My inner collector was SHOOK. 😲🤯 The place is filled with incredibly detailed dioramas and figurines from all over the world—each one telling a unique story through vibrant scenes and cultural motifs. It was like walking into a global miniature festival! I instantly regretted not coming earlier. This place deserves a whole day, not just one hour. There was also a special exhibit curated by the museum staff, featuring all kinds of “artworks” with a playful (dare I say hilarious 😂) vibe. I wanted to take every single piece home! We stayed until the very last second—unfortunately, the gift shop was already closed by the time we left. No idea what cool souvenirs they had, but now I have the perfect excuse to return! If you’re in Santa Fe—get the CulturePass. Every museum on the list is absolutely worth it. This one? A must-see! #USTravel #NewMexico #SantaFe #MuseumAdventure #FolkArt #FigurineCollection #HiddenGems #CulturePass #TravelTips #ToyLover #MiniatureWorld #ArtisticEscape
