🌊 Waiting by the Scottish Seaside Until the Sky Cleared ☀️
What a magical day of serendipity! ✨ The morning in Glasgow started with rain and gloomy skies—utterly hopeless weather 😔☔. But after a cozy brunch and a stroll through the majestic University of Glasgow, the clouds began to part 🥞🏛️. On a whim, I decided to chase the light and head to Greenock to see the sea! Hopped on a train to Fort Matilda 🚆🌊, and across at Battery Park, I caught glimpses of blue breaking through the gray 🌤️. Faced with a choice between returning to Edinburgh for North Berwick or climbing Lyle Hill viewpoint—I chose the latter! A 30-minute hike up the hill 🏞️🚶♀️, and with every step, the sky grew clearer and brighter. And then—pure magic! At the summit, I was rewarded with a panoramic view of the Scottish coastline that looked like a living oil painting 🎨🌍. The shades of blue, the rolling hills, the distant sails—absolutely breathtaking! And as a bonus: I got a physical train ticket! 🎟️❤️ For us ticket collectors, it’s these little things that spark joy. Sometimes the best moments are unplanned. Today, luck was on my side—and Scotland’s beauty left me speechless. #UK #Glasgow #Travel#ScottishCoast #SunshineAfterRain #LyleHill #Greenock #TravelMagic #ScotlandViews
