Waiting for Nightfall at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine 🌟
🌿Starting from Kamakura Station, walk north along Wakamiya Avenue to reach Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine. 🌇It is said to have been built by Minamoto no Yoritomo, the founder of the Kamakura Shogunate, and has an 800-year history. 🌺Perhaps because it was nearing evening, there weren't many tourists, and the side paths were even quieter. 🌿 🌇Passing by the dance stage, climb the sixty steps to reach the main hall of the shrine. 🎢Standing outside the main hall, you can see inside where the Hachiman deity is enshrined. 🍃By chance, a Shinto priest was performing a ceremony for a family, and we watched the entire ritual. 🌺 It was quite an interesting experience for a trip. 🌟 🌊As we descended the steps, night had already fallen, marking the end of our visit. It is said that hydrangeas bloom here in the summer. 🎢 I hope to return in the future to see them. 🌸 🌸Shot on Canon EOS R8 + RF24-105 F4L 📸 #KamakuraDayTrip #KamakuraGuide 🌿🌟
