🌸🌺 Wakayama, Japan | Kuroshio Market 🌿🍃
✅ The Kuroshio Market is divided into two floors. The market is compact and very clean. 🌸🌺 There is no fishy smell you'd typically associate with seafood markets. The main stalls and the tuna cutting show are located on the first floor, 🌸🌺 while the second floor has a buffet area, which is rather quiet with most diners preferring the first floor. 🌸🌺 ✅ We arrived quite early. The fishing show started at 12:30 PM. After a quick look around, 🌸🌺 we found that the seafood prices were much cheaper compared to the Kuromon Market in Osaka. For instance, four large scallops cost 1500 yen, and sweet shrimp were 600 yen, all ready to be eaten on the spot. 🌸🌺 ✅ We only ordered a bowl of seafood noodles, fresh shrimp sushi, two boxes of tuna from the cutting show, and some drinks, totaling over 3600 yen. 🌸🌺 The ingredients were fresh, the taste was average, but the price was reasonable! After eating, we were just in time to watch the performance. 🌸🌺 ✅ There are two types of seating, both outdoor and by the sea. One is a barbecue area, and the other is similar to a food court where you can sit casually. 🌊🍤 🌸🌺 #Wakayama
