Wandering in Tokyo ๐
1. Yasaka Shrine ๐ธ The shrine's architecture is brightly colored and very traditional Japanese. It looks even more beautiful at night ๐ I planned to come back in the evening, but I was too tired and had to cancel! ๐ด ๐ 2. Hanami Lane This ancient pleasure quarter is the filming location for "Memoirs of a Geisha." ๐ธ The houses lining the street have a strong Edo-period vibe, with lattice windows made of thin wood arranged in both vertical and horizontal directions for ventilation. ๐ We arrived in the morning, so the street was very quiet and peaceful, allowing us to fully enjoy its quaint and leisurely charm. ๐ธ ๐ 3. Fushimi Inari Taisha ๐ We took a bus to Fushimi Inari Shrine, famous for its thousands of torii gates. ๐ธ It's one of Kyoto's most visually striking architectural landscapes. Over ten thousand torii gates stretch along Mount Inari for 4 kilometers, with heights ranging from 1 to 4 meters, creating a strong sense of visual depth. ๐ The torii gates are mainly made of cypress wood, and the color difference between new and old torii gates (from dark red to bright red) forms a spectrum of time. The shrine is also full of fox statues holding keys (symbolizing the protection of granaries) or sheaves of rice (symbolizing harvest). ๐ฆ ๐ In short, the day was incredibly impressive. I had planned to come back at night to take some photos, but unfortunately, I couldn't make it. ๐ฆ I hope I get the chance to visit again in the future! ๐ #Tokyo ๐ #Kyoto ๐ฟ #JapanTravel ๐ธ
