Warsaw's Healing Kittens & Asian Fusion Cat Café

I've mentioned before how Poland's F&B scene underwent a major refresh in the past 3 years, with tons of new restaurants popping up. Today's feature—this cat café—opened in 2021 during that wave. 🐱✨ I rarely recommend pet cafés because Poland's concept is totally different from China's. Here, the furry staff never stay overnight—they go home with their owners after work! So if the owner's off, the café might be cat-less that day. That's why Polish pet cafés have fewer animals than Chinese ones (space constraints at home, you see...). Many Chinese visitors get disappointed when they make a special trip to a Warsaw cat/dog/bird café only to find zero fluffballs inside. 😅 But here's the twist: Even without cats, this place is worth visiting for its ASIAN FUSION FOOD! The owners are a quirky duo—a coffee-obsessed Polish guy and a second-gen Asian immigrant woman. They hired a top Polish barista to design their drinks menu, and the barista's latte art is decent! ☕🎨 The food mixes Japanese & Korean flavors (unsurprising, given Poland's weeaboo culture). Their star dish? Warsaw's ONLY jiggly Japanese soufflé pancakes—now upgraded from mini to regular size! 🥞💫 Both sweet & savory versions rock. Their seasonal drinks/desserts are also A+. The ramen/rice dishes? Not as stellar, but tastes vary. Pro tip: Cats usually lounge here on weekends, but weekdays are hit-or-miss. Also, no young kids allowed (perfect for solo students/couples). Not ideal for tourists unless you're okay with potential cat absence. P.S. 1️⃣ Warsaw just got its newest Michelin star (a 1-year-old restaurant)—more on that later! 🌟 2️⃣ Chongqing Hotpot's downtown branch is now open near Financial Street. Prices have DOUBLED since launch (from 64zl to 125zl per person 💸), but hey—just putting it out there!
