Basically, an instructor takes you to the waves, teaches you how to paddle, and even gives your board a push when a wave comes while showing you how to stand! 🛶 Beginners can rent soft-top longboards—they’re more stable and perfect for Virginia Beach’s small, gentle waves. Friends can take turns using the same board.
