🌵 Weekend in El Paso: 3 National Parks & 2 Sunsets in 2 Days! ✈️

I was in the area for work and flew in from Dallas on Saturday morning. Fun fact: I didn’t realize El Paso is on Mountain Time — turned out to be a nice surprise, giving me an extra hour to explore! ⏰💙 🚗 A lot of driving is involved, and service can be spotty — definitely download offline maps ahead of time! 📲🗺️ Day 1: Landed, grabbed coffee downtown ☕, then checked out the cute little museum at UTEP — totally worth a quick visit! Stopped by the giant pistachio for a photo 🥜📸 and passed a cool space museum along the way. Heads up if you’re heading to White Sands in the afternoon: pay attention to rental times for sleds! You’ll need to return them on time. ⏳🏜️ But the highlight? The Sunset Stroll! 🌅❤️ Highly recommend — get there on time and enjoy one of the most magical views ever. Day 2: Drove through Guadalupe Mountains National Park 🏞️ to Carlsbad Caverns. ⚠️ Note: You need advance reservations for Carlsbad! ⛽ There are no gas stations around the parks — fuel up beforehand!
