Weekend Trip from Glasgow - Japanese Garden & Gleneagles 🌿🏨
Last weekend, taking advantage of the lovely weather, my partner and I visited the Japanese Garden at Cowden, just a 45-minute drive from Glasgow. (Don’t forget to buy tickets in advance! 🎫) The garden is compact but charming—you can stroll through it in about 20 minutes. Designed in a traditional Japanese style, it truly makes you feel like you’ve stepped into Japan! 🌸 With the UK almost entering summer time, the warmer weather and lush greenery instantly boosted our mood—proof that the 20MinuteParkEffect is real! 🧠💚 We also spotted tons of frogs 🐸 in the pond, and a few even hopped onto the path, giving some visitors a little scare! 😆 After the garden, we spontaneously drove 20 minutes further to Gleneagles, the famous century-old luxury estate hotel in Scotland. 🏰 The grounds are stunning, with picture-perfect views at every turn—it’s also where the G8 Summit was held back in the day! We treated ourselves to a traditional British afternoon tea at their Glendevon Restaurant—so elegant! ☕🍰 Next time, we’d love to stay overnight and fully experience the luxury. A perfect day out! ✨ #LifeInTheUK #GlasgowDayTrips #ScottishCountryside #TravelScotland
