West Village New French Restaurant Libertine’s Duck Two-Ways 🍖
The West Village always seems to sprout new restaurants like mushrooms after rain. 🌿 They pop up one after another, and there’s simply not enough time to try them all! 🦆 Among these, Libertine has quickly become a must-visit spot. Just a few months after opening, it’s already tough to get a reservation. 🌟 🌟This French bistro is incredibly authentic. From the restaurant’s decor to the way the menu is presented—it’s all very French. The menu is written on a small blackboard, and you order table by table. There aren’t many dishes, but every single one is delicious. I highly recommend the appetizers: Tartare de Boeuf (Beef Tartare) and Oeufs Mayo (Egg Mayo). 🍔 🦆 For the main course, the Saucisse Purée (Sausage with Mashed Potatoes) is quite good, but the star of the show is the Duck Deux Facons (Duck Two-Ways). It’s truly amazing, especially the Duck Confit with potato purée. It’s super flavorful, tender, and juicy. 🦆 🌟While the overall taste might be a bit salty, let’s be honest—French cuisine wouldn’t be the same without a bit of salt. The saltiness here is acceptable and still very tasty. The only downside is that the restaurant can get a bit noisy, making conversations a bit tiring. 😅 #ChroniclerOfARomanticLife #NotebookInspiration 📖
