🎡 WESTERN IDAHO FAIR – Boise’s Annual Carnival is Finally Here!

The moment we’ve been waiting for all year is here – the Western Idaho Fair is in full swing! We started the day by exploring the animal exhibitions 🐔🐄🐐 – and wow, I had no idea there were over 100 breeds of chickens! From cows and goats to horses, rabbits, and even alpacas (yes, fluffy llamas!) 🦙… it was both educational and… aromatic 😂 The smell was something else, but the cute animal competitions made it totally worth it! We wandered around catching random stage performances 🎤💃, stumbling upon everything from country music to magic shows. But the biggest surprise? The indoor section was basically one giant marketplace 🛍️! So many vendors, from handmade crafts to fair food… and don’t even get me started on the outdoor stalls – it felt like a mini economy! The amusement park area might not be Six Flags, but it had all the classics: a nostalgic carousel 🎠, a (surprisingly fast) roller coaster 🎢, and games where I definitely did NOT win the giant teddy bear 🧸😂 Standing all day under the Idaho sun though… my feet were screaming by the end 😫👣! I crawled back home and collapsed on the couch… but you know what? It was one of those “hurts so good” kind of days. Totally worth every sore muscle.
