What's It Like to Have Brunch in Chelsea? ๐
This brunch spot wasn't as amazing as I'd imagined, but overall, it was still pretty good. It's the kind of place you can visit occasionally, but probably wouldn't go out of your way for. ๐ณ ๐ณ BBQ Pulled Pork Benny The moment it hit the table, the aroma was incredible! The BBQ sauce is subtly sweet but not cloying, with a rich, smoky flavor that pairs perfectly with the tender, shredded pork. Cutting into the Benedict, the runny egg yolk mixes with the pork, creating a comforting, indulgent experience. The bread is lightly toasted to a perfect crispiness, making the whole dish feel balanced and not too heavy. (Note: The Potato Hashbrowns are a side and cost extra.) ๐ฅง ๐ Banana French Bread Toast The sweetness does get a bit overwhelming towards the end. Unlike the crispy-on-the-outside version I had at Tatte, this one is softer throughout, with little difference between the inside and outside textures. Thereโs plenty of banana, but overall, itโs quite ordinary and lacks a standout quality. ๐ ๐บ Drinks I tried the Matcha Latte and Peach Lemonade. Both felt a bit watery, possibly due to too much ice. The flavors were mild and didnโt leave a strong impression. ๐ต๐ Overall, itโs a safe betโnothing to complain about, but also nothing particularly surprising.
