π³πΈ What a garden city truly looks like! π³πΈ
I had long heard of Singapore's reputation as a "Forest City," and I took the opportunity to explore the city during my trip to see Taylor Swift's concert. π€π΄ From the smallest parks to the largest airports, Singapore is truly a country surrounded by greenery. With a forest cover rate of up to 50%, every breath feels fresh and natural. πΏπ πΆπΆ Singapore is not large, making it perfect for Citywalks! From Fort Canning Park to Chinatown, and Marina Bay Sands, every step feels like the city, or rather, the country is very relaxed. πΆββοΈπΆββοΈ Since stepping into Changi Airport, Singapore has been welcoming me with pure nature! βοΈ Here are a few of my favorite classic hidden gems in Singapore: 1οΈβ£ Changi Airport T1, the Rain Vortex It's no wonder this is considered the world's most beautiful airport. It's the prototype for the city in Zootopia! A perfect blend of design and nature! π§οΈποΈ 2οΈβ£ Fort Canning Park The rotating staircase under the green canopy that's gone viral online. Any shot with a smartphone's wide-angle lens turns out great! πΈπ³ 3οΈβ£ PARKROYAL COLLECTION PICKERING PICKUP POINT A building surrounded by greenery, where architecture and nature interweave, showcasing the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature. Just a few minutes' walk from the [Chinatown] station. πΏπ’ 4οΈβ£ City Hall Take the MRT to [City Hall] station, and you'll marvel at how this city is like a park. I recommend walking towards the Merlion, and the whole journey feels incredibly comfortable and natural. π³πΆ Even in the downtown area, it feels like your lungs are being purified! βοΈ Singapore Travel Tips: β Singapore is now visa-free. Just fill in the electronic entry card on the ICA website 3 days in advance, and you can smoothly enter by scanning your passport and fingerprinting. β Singapore is in the rainy season, with rain almost every day, but it comes and goes quickly. Bring an umbrella! β The afternoons in Singapore are really hot, so be sure to protect yourself from the sun and the heat. Sunscreen and a parasol are essential. β Most people in Singapore speak Chinese, so there's little pressure about language barriers. β Most transportation in Singapore is by MRT. You can buy an MRT card, which has a non-refundable fee of 5 SGD. If you don't take the MRT often and have a Visa credit card, you can just use that to ride the MRT. If you're staying for a longer time, you can buy a public transport card or a SIM card with public transport card functionality. β Singapore has a relatively high cost of living, with dining and hotels being quite expensive. If you're on a budget, consider fast food at hawker centers. #WanderIntoSpring #VisaFreeTravel #SpringTravelDiary #SpringVibes #BestSpringSpots #SpringStrollGuide #Citywalk #Singapore #SingaporeTravel #ForestCity #TaylorSwiftSingapore
