What Else to Explore in Buffett’s Hometown, Omaha? 🚗💨

Rented a car from Hertz—originally wanted to use Zuzuche, but they required an IDP (International Driving Permit), and I only have a Dubai license. Having a car totally changes the game! 🏁 Now I can go anywhere easily. In Omaha, even the farthest point is just over 30 km away. Compared to driving 100-200 km just to get somewhere in the UAE, this feels like nothing! 😆 Here are some local-recommended spots I tried: 1️⃣ Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum ✈️ My friend insisted I see the Blackbird spy plane—sleek design, incredible speed, and it played a big role during the Cold War monitoring both the US and USSR. 2️⃣ Standing Bear Lake 🌅 Went there at dusk—felt like a scene straight out of a crime show 😅. Super atmospheric… like someone might just push somebody into the water! 🎣 Locals love fishing here, though it’s not quite as grand as the lakes in Europe. 3️⃣ Fontenelle Forest 🌳🪵 Perfect for a peaceful walk and fresh air. Some trails even offer lovely views of the river! 4️⃣ Hotpot 88 🍲 All-you-can-eat hotpot for just $33.90 per person? Yes, please! Lots of variety and totally worth it. 5️⃣ Old Market 🧱 Drove through this historic area—old red-brick buildings, cute streets. They say Buffett used to hang out here back in the day. Well, he grew up here, so of course he did! 😄 #Omaha #Travel #RoadTrip #USA
