๐ฎ What I Ate During Two Weeks in Santa Barbara ๐
๐ Loquita โ Famous spot, requires reservations! ๐ Loved everything we ordered, especially the grilled octopus with insanely good mashed potatoes underneath. Plus, our super friendly Spanish-accented waiter made great recommendations and even tried remembering our names! ๐๐ช๐ธ ๐ Funk Zone Eateries โ Tried a few places recommended by a local guide (names forgotten ๐ ), but wasnโt a big fan of the fried-heavy options. Maybe youโll have better luck! ๐ค ๐ IN-N-OUT โ Went with the classic hamburger ๐! The bun was soft and fresh. Lightly seasoned and not greasy โ plus so affordable compared to other burger chains! ๐ Magee's Kitchen at LA Farmers Market โ Tried the popular "DOWNTOWN" hot dog ๐ญ! Huge, loaded with toppings, and the smell alone drew us in from far away. ๐ Butterbeer Icee at Universal Studios Hollywood โ Super sweet and not much beer flavor ๐ป, but chugged it anyway โcause it was crazy hot and sunny that day! โ๏ธโ๏ธ ๐ Blenders in the Grass โ SBโs local smoothie chain! ๐ Tried the Red Pineapple โ refreshing and not too sweet. Perfect SB thirst quencher! ๐ Homemade feast with Korean friends! ๐ฅ๐ซถ We braved the kitchen and succeeded! Made delicious meals with grocery ingredients โ including these pink-yellow cherries Iโd never seen back home. So juicy and sweet! ๐ #SantaBarbaraEats #FoodieDiary #StudyAbroadLife #CaliforniaCuisine #EatLikeALocal #FoodSavesTheDay #SBFood
