What to Eat in LA & Las Vegas 🍽️
Every day is either eating or on the way to eat—literally! 😂 In LA, we tried lots of Korean food, mostly in Ktown. 📍 Dha Rae Ok – Roasted duck BBQ 🦆. The smoked duck was fragrant, and we also got duck oil fried rice with kimchi (not pictured)—so tasty! Comes with a kimchi soup cooked with duck bones and wings, with noodles inside—super flavorful! 👍 📍 Sun Nong Dan – A classic hotspot. Not as mind-blowing as hyped, but still delicious. Meat lovers will enjoy—just avoid the clear soups…they tasted like plain water. 😅 📍 Yigah – More Korean! We had braised beef ribs (you can choose non-spicy soy sauce style) and the spicy cod stew—so good! But skip the samgyetang…tasted like lightly flavored water (maybe just not my taste). 🐟🔥 📍 Jae Bu Do – Popular seafood BBQ 🦪. A bit pricey but worth it—super fresh seafood, huge abalone, and the staff grill and cut everything for you. We added a sea eel—expensive but delicious! 🐠✨ 📍 Bodegon No 69 – A Peruvian spot in Pasadena. The flavors reminded me of Chinese food—really tasty! The owner was super patient explaining dishes. Must-order: the green seafood rice with cilantro sauce—so fragrant! 🤤 📍 The Hat World Famous Pastrami – Saw this online and drooled! Finally tried it on our last day. The pastrami sandwich was great, and the fries were huge—skip if you’re not sharing, but still yummy! 🥪🍟 📍 Sushi Neko – In Las Vegas, a sushi buffet even celebrities visit! Great value at $29.95 per person, with uni, ikura, and tons of options. The rice balls are small so you won’t fill up too fast—highly recommended! 🍣🎰 #LasVegas #LAFood #KoreanFood #SeafoodBBQ #PeruvianCuisine #SushiBuffet #FoodTour
