When in Hamburg, Don’t Just Think About Hamburgers! A One-Day Tour wi

🌟1️⃣ Fischmarkt (Fish Market): We set off by car around 6 a.m. from near Lüneburg to the suburbs of Hamburg (Nettelnburg). Parking here costs only 2 euros for a full day 🅿️, and then we took the S-Bahn and transferred to a bus once to get there directly—it’s super convenient! The fish market is open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in winter, and starts at 5:00 a.m. in summer ☀️❄️. The must-try is definitely Backfischbröt (around 6.5 euros) 🐟; my German friend highly recommended it. Hamburgers here aren’t anything special, by the way 🍔! (P.S. Better check the weather before going—part of the fish market might be flooded during winter floods ⚠️) 🌟2️⃣ Elbe River Boat Tour: If you have a German student monthly pass, you can take the public transport boat at the pier for free 🚢. You can choose to get off at the terminal in the direction of the Elbphilharmonie. 🌟3️⃣ Elbtunnel (Elbe Tunnel): It’s just a few minutes’ walk from the boat stop after getting off. Built in 1907, it can now only be passed on foot or by bike 🚶♂️🚴♀️. You must go inside! It retains the original elevator structure, and the wall decorations inside the tunnel also have a very Weimar style 🎨. 🌟4️⃣ Elbphilharmonie (Elbe Philharmonic Hall): After returning from the tunnel the same way, take a bus directly there 🚌. You can enter for free (and there are nice souvenir tickets too), no reservation needed 🎫! 🌟5️⃣ Speicherstadt (Warehouse District): It’s a building complex that witnesses the history of Hamburg Port’s international shipping trade and warehousing and transshipment. It’s perfect for taking photos 📸! 🌟6️⃣ Shanghai Straße (Shanghai Road): Opposite the road in the Speicherstadt area, you can find the Shanghai road sign. When taking photos, you can also include the Der Spiegel magazine building in the shot 🗞️! 🌟7️⃣ Rathaus (City Hall): Reach there by public transport. It’s a super beautiful historical building integrated with Christmas market decorations—it’s absolutely stunning 🎄! Since we set off very early with friends, we headed back around 3 p.m. The main focus was on seeing Hamburg’s street scenes. Many museums, art galleries, church buildings, etc., are worth taking a closer look at slowly in the future 🖼️! #Germany #Hamburg #HistoricalBuildings #OneDayTour #GermanyTravel #SelfDriving #ChristmasMarket #ElbeRiver #Travel
