When in North Berwick, You Must Try The Herringbone

❤️Heading to the quaint town of North Berwick near Edinburgh, everyone recommended The Rocketeer Restaurant. My friend and I were looking forward to it and braved the cold for a 15-minute walk to get there. But as soon as we arrived, we turned around and left because of the rude staff. ❤️We ended up at another place called The Herringbone on a whim. The staff were friendly, the decor was beautiful, and the food we blindly ordered was delicious! I had a salmon burger, which was made with a massive piece of fried salmon as the patty – a hearty and creative dish! My friend’s beef brisket was a large portion with delicious meat. Being by the sea, we couldn’t miss the seafood chowder, which was quite tasty! We ordered four dishes and a dessert for two, and the bill came to just over £30 per person, leaving us full and satisfied. ❤️The place seemed to be doing brisk business; we had to wait 20 minutes for a table at around 1 PM. It might be busier due to the upcoming Christmas season, so if you’re planning to go, it’s a good idea to check if you need a reservation. If you can book a table, you can explore the area – the restaurant is right in the heart of the town! 📍The Herringbone #Edinburgh #NorthBerwick #ScotlandNorthBerwickFoodExploration #NorthBerwickDayTrip
