Where to Dine | Birmingham Italian Cuisine
-<La Bellezza> 🍽 A newly opened Italian 🇮🇹 restaurant in Birmingham, located behind the fountain in the city center square. It’s part of the Big Mamma group, known for its extravagant style and exceptional atmosphere. I had tried one of their restaurants in London before, and while the food wasn’t mind-blowing, I didn’t have high expectations this time. But guess what? It was surprisingly delicious! Apart from being hard to get a reservation, there’s really nothing to complain about. It’s perfect for birthdays or special occasions—you won’t be disappointed! Appetizers >Bruschetta Con Taleggio Fondue Funghi 👍 Mushroom bruschetta If you love mushrooms and bread, this is a must-try. The combination is unexpectedly harmonious. The savory mushrooms pair perfectly with the chewy bread, and the accompanying sauce is designed to tantalize your taste buds. >Tartare Con Puttanesca Chimichurri 👍 Beef tartare I rarely eat raw meat, but this was a delightful new experience. If you can handle raw meat, go for it without hesitation—the flavor is incredibly surprising. The beef is tender and smooth, reminiscent of tuna, with no fishy taste and a slight sweetness. The accompanying sauce, which tastes like lemon-flavored mayonnaise, adds a refreshing and non-greasy touch to the dish. Main Courses >Mafaldine Al Tartufo Truffle pasta 🍖 The truffle flavor is very strong, with a rich creaminess. I’d recommend sharing this dish. While the first bite was delicious, I found it a bit too rich after a few more. It pairs well with other dishes. >The Royals (🍕) 👍 For pizza and meat lovers! The pizza crust is perfectly baked, with a soft yet crispy texture. The tangy tomato base is a great palate cleanser, and the ham and cheese on top are perfectly seasoned. 🍹 >Coco Loco Pineapple-flavored non-alcoholic cocktail Even for the sake of aesthetics, you should try this drink. The pineapple flavor was a bit too sweet, so I gradually added some water to adjust it to the right sweetness level. #ukfood #italiancuisine #restaurantrecommendation #atmosphericrestaurant #birminghamfood #birminghamrestaurant #birminghamfoodie #birmingham #birminghamitalian #birminghamlife
