🍩 Who Doesn’t Know About This New Korean Donut Shop Near UCSB?!

Okay, clickbait again… but seriously! It’s called Kinbake Shop, located in Goleta on Turnpike. I’ve been there four or five times since the semester started — the reason I haven’t written about it yet is that they were in soft opening with irregular hours, plus the lines were crazy long! 📆👥 They’ve actually been doing pop-ups around Santa Barbara for years. Their flavors have always been amazing — many of my friends still dream about them. 😍 Now, let’s talk drinks and desserts: 🧋 Drinks: I tried the Matcha Cheese Foam and Matcha Sesame Cheese Foam. The matcha is high quality (you can see them making it fresh!), but I wouldn’t highly recommend these — the cream was a bit too sweet for me. The sesame one felt a little heavy and almost choked me going down… 🫢💦 🍩 Donuts: Here’s the highlight — the donuts are SO GOOD! My personal favorite is the Hokkaido Brioche-style donut. Flavors I loved: Guava Cream Cheese 🍈 Strawberry Lychee 🍓✨ The cream is light and not overly sweet. None of the flavors taste artificial — just real, fruity goodness! I also tried the Mochi Donuts — Ube and Blood Orange. My friends absolutely loved the Ube one (think taro-purple sweet potato vibes 🍠💜). The mochi texture is chewy and satisfying — perfect combo with the flavors! Heads up though — if you go on weekends after 12 PM, they’re often sold out! Weekdays might be better. Also, their flavors change every week, and they don’t make donuts every day — so follow kinbakeshop on Instagram and check their story updates! 📲🌸 #UCSB #StudyInUSA #SweetTooth #DonutLover #KinbakeShop #SantaBarbaraEats #KoreanDonuts #FoodieFind
