Who Finally Tried SF’s Hyped Korean Spot – One Year After Opening?

...Yep, that’s me 😂 Finally made it to Kunjip Tofu — the place everyone’s been lining up for! To avoid the crowd, we went right at 4:30 PM on a weekday and got seated smoothly. We ordered some of their most popular dishes — and no regrets at all! 🍽 What We Tried: 🐟 Chilean Seabass – Tender and flavorful 🫓 Seafood Pancake – Crispy golden outside, unlike any I’ve had before. I usually skip seafood pancakes, but this one? Loved it! 🥩 Wagyu Galbi – Rich and juicy 🥘 Snow Crab Bibimbap & Abalone Galbi Tang – Fresh, savory, well-balanced 🥤 Honey Sweet Rice Drink – Sweet and soothing My personal favorite was definitely the Seafood Pancake — extra crispy and totally won me over! The portions are on the smaller side and prices aren’t low — it’s more about quality and presentation. For three of us, this was just right. Side dishes are served individually, and almost all were delicious 🥬. A server came around with a cart to offer refills — though the abalone side is no longer available. Service was warm and friendly — the Korean auntie made us feel right at home! 💖 📍 Kunjip Tofu | San Francisco 🕓 Pro Tip: Come early to avoid lines 💬 Vibe: Cozy, authentic, great service #KunjipTofu #SFKoreanFood #BayAreaEats #KoreanBBQ #SeafoodPancake #ComfortFood #NoMoreLines #HypeWorthy #FoodieShare
