Who Leaked This Amazing NYC Chinese Food to the Foreigners?! 😆

I loved the Midtown location of Szechuan Mountain House, so I finally tried the original East Village spot near NYU. Place was packed—even lots of non-Chinese diners fighting for tables! 🔥 Flame-Grilled Beef Ribs – My pick! Pre-sliced beef ribs torched tableside to crisp the fat. Served with lotus buns, chili oil, scallions, and cucumber—great in a bun or on its own 😋 🥔 Braised Beef Brisket with Baby Potatoes – My pick! Tried this last time—just as delicious. Tender, fall-apart brisket with soft, savory baby potatoes. Portion felt a bit small, though. 👉🏻 Chongqing Spicy Chicken – Super numbing and spicy! Piled high with dried chilies and Sichuan peppercorns. Tender, flavorful chicken—kept eating despite the heat 🌶️ 👉🏻 Hanging Pork Slices – Sliced pork arranged like laundry on a line (cute presentation!). Thin, no gaminess, served with garlic sauce—light and appetizing. 👉🏻 Preserved Mustard Greens & Cured Pork Fried Rice – Savory, slightly spicy, not greasy. Perfect for two. 🍯 Honey Pomelo Tea – My pick! Refreshing with real pomelo pulp—sweet, tangy, and great for cooling the spice. 🍑 Peach Rice Milk – My pick! Strong peach flavor, not too sweet—so refreshing. 🥢 Szechuan Mountain House 📍 28 St Marks Pl, New York, NY 💰 ~$45/person 💜 Check out this blogger—worth a follow (collections are sorted) #NYC #NYCLife #NYU #NYCFood #NYCStudent #Columbia #NYCWeekend #EatNYC #NYCExploration #NYCFoodGuide #NYCLiving #JerseyCity #Manhattan #WorkLunch #Soho #NYCCheckIn #Manhattan #Newport #NYCChineseFood #EastVillage #LIC #SichuanCuisine #NYCEats #FoodieFinds
