You can pick up a map at the entrance which marks out the routes. You can either follow the routes or explore at your own leisure, snapping photos as you go. A leisurely walk takes about 2 hours. 🍁Shop and Restrooms: There is a restaurant at the entrance, with an ice cream van and restrooms nearby. There are no other restaurants or restrooms inside the arboretum. 🍁Additional Tips for Visitors: 1⃣️ There are two transportation options from Godalming station to the arboretum: bus route 42 or taxi. The bus is infrequent, so if you choose the bus, make sure to check the timetable in advance. There’s no Uber, so if you want a taxi, keep an eye out for taxis at the station and save a contact number. The fare is £12💷 one way. 2⃣️ Some parts of the path near the lake inside the park can be a bit muddy. If you’re concerned, you can detour or bring a pair of wellies. 3⃣️ Mid-November is a good time to see the autumn leaves and scenery. There are plenty of red leaves, making it worth a visit to catch the last of the autumn colors. 4⃣️ After arriving in Godalming, you might want to reserve some time to explore the town. There are many charming shops that are worth a visit, offering a cozy and quaint experience. #UKLife #UKAutumnTrip #UKAutumnViewing #LondonAutumn #AutumnInLondon #LondonAutumnViewing #winkworth #UKHiking #LondonHiking #LondonHiking
