❄️ Winter Self-Drive Trip in Hokkaido 🚗
Every year I travel in Japan, but this is my first time in Hokkaido. I started planning half a year in advance, and my significant other (npy) praised the攻略 and itinerary as awesome. Friends are all asking for my travel plan. 🗺️ 🗓️ Itinerary Day 1 - Kuala Lumpur ✈️ Taoyuan Day 2 - Taoyuan ✈️ Hokkaido New Chitose Airport (After arrival, pick up the car and head straight to Noboribetsu) The hotel I booked was secured half a year in advance because there's only one room with a private onsen. After checking in, we soaked in the hot spring, and since the hotel includes dinner, we didn't go out. Day 3 - Noboribetsu ➡️ Sapporo Noboribetsu Jigokudani Date Jidai Mura Toya Lake (Had lunch at mogmog curry) Niseko Ski Resort (Checked in at LV Mongolian Yurt) Headed to Sapporo (Food recommendations in Tanuki-koji: Genghis Khan BBQ, Garaku Soup Curry, Ichiran, Shorin, Picante, Nemuro Genroku Hana must-try!) Day 4 - Otaru Day Tour Checked in at Asari Station Music Box Museum, Funayakozaka, Triangle Market, Otaru Canal (Must-eat: Letao, Hokkaido Kurodiya, Popura Farm) Tenguyama (Didn't go because of heavy snow and cable car suspension) Back to Sapporo for dinner at Tanuki-koji Day 5 - Sapporo Nihonbashi Market - Seafood Donburi Tanuki-koji Shopping Street Sapporo Clock Tower Odori Park, Sapporo TV Tower (The park was filled with snow, and everyone was making snowmen ⛄️) Susukino Joy Street (Can visit Ami Paris, Human Made, UGG) Day 6 - Sapporo Teine Ski Area Chose this place for my first skiing experience. It was also snowing heavily, so I only booked for 4 hours. 💰 15,500 yen/person * including all ski equipment and clothing 💰 1900 yen/person * for the whole day lift pass 4 hours were really not enough, will come again next year #Japan #Travel
