Wokuni - New York Fugu Omakase ๐ŸŸ

Let's get straight to the point: The flavors were pretty bland. It wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't good either. ๐ŸŒŸ Fugu Sashimi: Mediocre. The sashimi had no fishy smell, but the taste was extremely mild. You could only really taste the dipping sauce. It was more about the texture than the flavor. ๐Ÿฃ Fugu Skin Salad: A bit fishy and not enjoyable. Chewing it made my jaws sore. ๐Ÿฅ— Fugu Sushi: Again, no fishy smell, but it just didn't taste good. ๐Ÿฃ Fried Fugu: All you could taste was the fried breadcrumbs. The fish inside tasted a bit like fried chicken if you thought about it. ๐Ÿ– Fugu Hot Pot: Not even close to a good hot pot experience. It was both bland and fishy. ๐Ÿฒ Fugu Hot Pot Porridge: This was more like comfort food, filling but nothing special. ๐Ÿ” Dessert: Mochi from the fridge with red beans, which I'm not a fan of. ๐Ÿก With an automatic 18% tip and tax, the average cost per person was $320. ๐Ÿค‘ So expensive and not tasty at all, it felt like my heart was bleeding.
