📍 Printemps New York 1 Wall St, New York, NY 10005 The historic Printemps, known for its 160-year legacy in Paris, has made its way to New York’s Wall Street in spring 2025. 🌿🌟 This two-story shopping haven feels like a Parisian art exhibit and a French conservatory rolled into one. It offers a mix of fashion, beauty, home goods, as well as salons, bars, and restaurants. 🌿 The heart of the store is the Red Room, originally a bank VIP lounge built in 1931 and designed by artist Hildreth Meière. It’s adorned with three million red glass tiles and is one of New York’s most iconic Art Deco interiors. 🌿🌟Closed to the public for decades, it was restored and reopened with Printemps’ arrival, now serving as a high-end shoe gallery. 🎇 Here’s a quick tour of other areas, with photos from my visit yesterday. The store is incredibly beautiful, like wandering through a Parisian art exhibit—perfect for a weekend afternoon. 🌆 Red Room This iconic red mosaic hall, once a bank VIP lounge, is now a luxury shoe gallery. It feels like stepping into a “magic shoe palace.” (The entrance isn’t on the map; you’ll find it around the corner. Just ask the doorman for directions.) 🦩 🌿🌟 Salon This area feels like a French living room and social space, perfect for browsing, sitting, and taking photos.
