You Can’t Miss This Bistro in Lisbon🍷

I really love this creative cuisine restaurant in Lisbon🍴 Tucked away in a small alley next to Avenida da Liberdade, it’s the kind of place you’d easily miss if you weren’t looking for it: A Cozinha - Sr. Lisboa (Average cost per person: 50€) We arrived at 9 PM, and it was pretty much full The waitstaff were very enthusiastic and seriously recommended dishes based on our tastes I have to say, the bread they serve before the meal is delicious, it’s a sourdough bread, very chewy, and comes with a delicious dipping sauce🫒🧀 For the appetizer, we ordered Dc Lamber os docos, which mainly consists of shrimp, blended with sauce and vegetables, making it very refreshing. The outside is crispy, and it’s topped with caviar🍤 For the main course, we had a Korean sauce fried cauliflower dish. When ordering, the waiter thought gochujang was a Chinese sauce and explained it to us for a long time, but we were clueless. Turns out it’s Korean chili paste💦 My favorite was the roasted piglet. The slow-roasted piglet skin was crispy and juicy. Roasted piglet seems to be a specialty of Portuguese cuisine🐖 We had a white wine recommended by the waiter, which is produced locally in Lisbon, and it had a refreshing aftertaste I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere at this restaurant, and I would love to go back and try more of their menu ‼️The restaurant only accepts cash, but the waiter we met agreed to let us make a bank transfer because we really wanted to eat there💗 ‼️Unlike in the UK, where service charges are included in the bill, there is no mandatory service fee in Portugal. If you are satisfied with the service, you can tip accordingly; it’s also a good idea to have some cash on hand, as it seems there is no tips option on the POS machine💰 #LisbonTravel #LisbonLife #LisbonDining #LisbonTourism #Portugal #EuropeTravel
