The benefits are endless: Watch the sunrise and spot dolphins right from your balcony 🌅🐬 Step directly onto the boardwalk and beach—perfect for spontaneous strolls and listening to the waves 🚶‍♀️🌊 Play in the sand or soak up the sun whenever you feel like it ☀️ The only downside? It can be pricey, and the rooms might not be the most spacious 😅. This time, we brought our parents along and stayed at Holiday Inn Express VA Beach Oceanfront (2607 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach). The hotel offers free breakfast 🍳—though the options are the same daily, there’s still a good variety! My parents woke up early every morning, caught the sunrise, took a walk, and had breakfast before we even got out of bed 😊. Honestly, staying oceanfront gave us peace of mind—no worries about them getting lost on their walks! Last year, we stayed at an Airbnb a 15-minute walk from the beach, and I was constantly anxious about them finding their way back 🥺. Pro tip: When booking, compare prices across multiple platforms!
