My wife and I came for dinner at a restaurant that is supposedly listed in the Michelin Guide. We ordered the following: two empanadas, curried cheese (some kind of cheese), I had the fish of the day, and my wife ordered grilled prawns. We also ordered water and two non-alcoholic cocktails.
I was asked in what order we wanted the dishes served. I said: first the empanadas, then the cheese, and finally the main dishes.
Here’s what happened. First, we received the empanadas. Then they brought the fish of the day and another dish we didn’t order. We asked where the cheese was — they said it was still being prepared. The waitress said she would just leave the other (incorrect) dish on the table. I didn’t understand the reasoning behind that, but she left it anyway. The dish just sat there. It was strange. My wife told me to go ahead and eat the fish so it wouldn’t get cold, so we did - one dish for two.
Later, the waitress came back, said she would take away the incorrect dish, and left without it. Then she came and took away the incorrect dish. In a while they brought the grilled prawns and yet another dish — an eggplant — which we also didn’t order. We said again that we hadn’t ordered it. This was already the second mistake. They said sorry and took the dish back. No one really apologized. There were no complimentary items offered, no gesture of goodwill. Nothing.
Frustrated by the situation, we refused the cheese. After eating the prawns, we asked for the bill. When it arrived, it included an extra dish that we hadn’t eaten. I asked where the fish of the day was, and they pointed to one of the items — but another fish dish was also listed. I said we didn’t eat two fish dishes. They started implying we had eaten both. I told them to check the cameras if they didn’t trust their customers. A young man left with a dissatisfied look, corrected the bill, returned, and charged us. Again, no apology. No compensation, no discount, no complimentary item. Nothing.
This service is not Michelin Guide level by any standard. I won’t return to this restaurant, and I don’t recommend it to anyone.
P.s. If Sacro staff think that after I ate something with a fork they can put it back dirty on the table so I can eat the next dish with it, how are you guys stay in Michelin Guide? P.s.s. We were served by tattooed red head waitress and a meiter skinny young man - guys it was horrible - I won’t forget your “trick” with the...
Read moreBrilliant vegan concept, but service needs to improve. I would give 5 star for the food, but remove 2 star for the over all operation. I had a reservation at 12 pm for 2 people which I guessed it was too early for Argentinian lunch standards. But normally if it opens at 12 pm, everything should be ready before they open the door for the guests to enter. In my view, the operation was not ready as it should be. When I entered to the restaurant, the hostess escorted me to the table at courtyard followed by my requested. I and my husband were the first customers and only a table there at that time. Then, a server provided physical menus for us. The menus printed with hard white papers which reusable. I didn’t mind to get a reused one, but our menus were dirty with the previous used. In fact, dirty menus should throw it away, not to reuse as it looks disgusted. After that, I was trying to get attention for more than 10 minutes to order some drinks as a start. The problem was all the servers were inside and ran around to setup their stations, all bartenders were hiding behind the bar. It seemed like they were not ready to run the operation yet which it was so weird. However, one bartender saw me from inside and waved to his colleagues to come and take the order. Then again, it took ages to get the drinks. (There were only 2 tables at that time.) After I got the drinks, a lady server came to take the order. (At that time it was around 12:30 pm). Another thing that was disappointing me, I would like to try the kimchi items, but the server said our kitchen was not ready to prepare the food with kimchi. The excuse was they made fresh kimchi daily. So, it would be ready after 1:30 pm only. WHAT A SHAME! It didn’t make sense for me. Then, the restaurant should open at 1:30 pm, not 12 pm or kitchen staffs should come to work early to do all the preparations. Therefore, the food would be ready to...
Read moreThe place is good, we enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, but some things were weird. We ordered 3 starters: eggplant was very delicious, the one was alioli and mushrooms was amazing!!!! The avocado curry was good. We ordered two main dishes, the ravioli with mushrooms were fine, but the lion mushroom steak was veryyy spicy, it was not possible to eat, we gave up after trying one piece. We told about it to waiter and he removed the steak from our table, but included it to the bill…it was so weird they cooked uneatable food and made us pay for it, they didn’t offer any other solution like change the dish or make a discount, or remove it from the bill as well. Than writer asked us for tips…Ofcourse we didn’t tip him, it would be so strange to pay extra after we paid money for the dish we didn’t even eat. Also when we made a reservation we specified ”two people, both vegetarian, birthday celebration” when we came the waiter asked us how many people…if we have a food restrictions…why did we spend time for filling the form on the website if they didn’t even check it? And ofcourse there was nothing special for celebration… We were surprised they have fish because in Michelin guide they were marked as a veg place. It was smelly in the room bc of fish. Music was terrible like techno on the rural discotheque, too loud and too hard for the dinner. Drinks (moctales and combucha) were very tasty, we...
