Very disappointed. I chose my meal based on it having ingredients I love, mint, coriander, cashews. Presentation was lovely, prawns delicious but it contained no mint, coriander or maple cashews hence the salad was very bland and not what the menu promised. When I asked the chef about my meal, his apprentice said they had run out of those ingredients. They didn’t offer a solution or an alternative meal. I was just given an apology for them not having all of the ingredients and only when I brought this to their attention. Very disappointed that I paid $30 for 5 prawns and a bland rice noodle salad. Other meals were good but over all very expensive for what we got (or rather didn’t get) and very little service. I would have understood them being out of ingredients but why wasn’t I told and given the option to order something else? If they are going to charge nearly $30 per meal they need to lift their game.

Went to the Garden Mill Cafe for lunch. The atmosphere is lovely, and the animals and playground is perfect for kids. Biggest downfall was the food! Way overpriced for the size of the meals. Ordered a kids pizza for my son, and it had cheese on it with nothing else. He said “where’s my pizza?” 😂 Paid $12 for the pizza and $22 for the pork tacos (see pic). So much potential, just need to up their game on the food front.

Food tasted delicious, excellent serving ladies, chooks very adorable, lovely place - would be great to see a chefs specials menu board, a refreshing dessert option, and a few substitute options (at least for the eggs bene!) of smoked salmon/haloumi, juuust to round out the menu a bit, otherwise well worth the visit! shoutout to bagara berries for reminding my dad and I about the cafe in the first place too!

Lovely goats very gentle Came here for a coffee on Monday and very disappointed to find they were closed. Used facilities and then someone spoke to me after opening the door I thought I locked but was open when I was there just to use the bathroom before leaving after no coffee and idk the guy was a bit rude? He asked if I fed them some of these huge palms that were in the cage and I said no (I did feed them some grass near their cage though and I told him this which he informed me everything had just been sprayed with poison which is concerning considering they offer eco friendly fresh fruit and veg and fruit bearing trees. He promptly went and locked the bathroom after I left and wasn’t interested in reciprocating conversation other than to tell me they are closed Monday and Tuesday so there you go I have updated your hours and I also think the animals should have access to more greenery in their enclosures doesn’t look nice for them to be on dirt poor Guinea pigs and chickens. Again the animals were nicer to me...

Paid $18 for two regular iced coffees takeaway, waited over 15 minutes, then got two chocolate milkshakes with a little bit coffee in them. My friend ordered two small iced coffees with an extra shot in each and got the same size coffee as me, for $17. The staff also came across as rude when we told them they it would have been nice to have been told it was going to be a long wait for our takeaway coffees. As much as I hate to say it, just go to the McCafé down the road, more affordable, better taste and...
