In all honesty, the food there is incredible and generally the staff is amazing. However, of late there seems to be one that brings down the atmosphere of the entire place, including the mood of their peers. And this is just from someone who is observing. I got her name the other night and I believe it to be Karen.

These are just a few of the things that I have noticed the are very disappointing to see from a team member working at such a nice place: Standing around talking to peers while they are trying to work Slightly adjusting items to look busy when there are clearly other more productive ways to be helping There were about 10 customers waiting to be served with only one person on till as the other was preparing cocktails and delivering them to tables as the person on floor was ā€œbusyā€ slightly adjusting items. Really doesn’t seem to care about assisting the rest of the team resulting in exhausted workers and annoyed customers. Overheard remarks made to peers stating she does not need to assist them with bar tasks as she is only a floor worker (this is definitely NOT want you want to hear a member of a TEAM saying) Making remarks to customers such as ā€œyou better hurry up and eat or your food will get coldā€ as though they are children Literally sitting down at the large picnic table while obviously not on any break and just looking around at the venue which is SUPER unprofessional and a horrible image to be portraying to customers. Overall seems like a useless team member just from observing and definitely think the team and establishment would be better off without her. You wouldn’t even need to hire a new team member because she is...

As a local, I really want to love Dapper and Weaver. It’s super convenient for me, and I give them bonus points for being dog-friendly. However, their outdoor seating area does suffer in summer due to the heat—something outside their control, but still a consideration.

Unfortunately, my recent experiences here have left me disappointed. I’ve noticed some newer staff behind the bar who come across as unfriendly. As a red wine drinker, it’s frustrating when wine is stored outside of a fridge, especially in 30°-40° weather. Room temperature for wine is not 37°! While I understand not every bar has a wine fridge, I’d expect some effort to keep the wine cool in such conditions. I’ve resorted to adding an ice cube, which isn’t ideal, but what really bothers me is the attitude I’ve received when asking how recently a bottle has been opened. This is a fair question to ensure I’m getting a fresh pour—especially when the wine isn’t stored properly. I don’t think it’s unreasonable, and the dismissive bordering on rude attitude makes it worse.

As for the food, it’s unfortunately pretty average. Edible, but often overly salty and greasy. I requested a minor change to menu item recently, which was declined due to ā€œbeing busyā€ or ā€œpre-preparationā€ā€”despite the fact there were very few customers in the restaurant. I get that not every place can accommodate changes, but when you add that to the challenges I have mentioned, things starts to add.

Again, As a local, I want this business to succeed, but at this stage, I won’t be returning for meals. I might stop by occasionally for a glass of wine and ice cube spiked with some...

Went there for breakfast this morning at 10pm Sunday 19th January 2020,, didn’t really like the food the mushrooms came out cold didn’t eat them, the bacon was hardly cooked went soggy and cold on plate really fast, our waiter forgot to bring us salt and pepper cause there was NONE on our table,2 mins before our coffees came out the waiter took our sugar bowl and gave to some other table, had to ask and wait to get sugar again!!!!! There’s no option to pre book a table here, but we didn’t have to wait to be seated. The decor is modern. Served by friendly staff. No table service which was a little strange but it didn’t bother us going up to order food at the register and a drink from the bar. Enjoyed our dinner at Dapple and Weaver. The steak was on the pricey side but had delicious flavour. Chunky chips were so delicious. Liked the salad and mushroom gravy that came with the dish. The chicken stirfry was nice but not mind blowing in flavour. Wished it had more variety of veggies in it. On another visit we tried the beef burgers with chunky fries. The chunky fries were huge (a little too big to finish) and the burgers tasted good but was missing fresh tomato slices and bbq sauce. Plenty of parking in the shopping centre. Cocktails available but didn’t try any as they were the typical cocktail prices. G&T was a great price though! Would recommend trying the steak.

Modern stylish cuisine and licensed restaurant. Cosy chairs. Excellent food selection from grazing menu, week day specials, bar drinks etc We started with chunky beer battered chips with aioli. This is the best chips I've ever had . We also had the calamari strip's with aioli. Then we had the 20 pcs Buffalo Wings with Blue cheese dip.The Wings were a bit dry and the dip wasn't enough for the amount of Wings ordered. I had the crispy pork belly with mashed potato. The pork belly was cooked perfectly and mashed potato was creamy. My husband had the pan fried barramundi with vegies. The fish was a bit dry and overcooked.

Located upstairs (get there from the Bunnings end). I got lost trying to find it the first time. Meet and share with friends, enjoy cocktails or a coffee. Food is well prepared and good serving size. We had the vegan burger, zucchini chips, popcorn chicken, and the fish. All delicious! Service is order at the bar, with the food coming out very quick and the drinks even quicker. One thing to note: it’s self-serve your own water with sparkling on tap!
