Headed to Tomato Brothers for our daughter's birthday. Not a great experience. No record of our booking so sat out in the overflow section. Turned out neither of my two preferred options from the menu for beer were available. The other's drinks did arrive however, not until close to the end of the meal. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Flavour of dish was alright however, the meatballs did not have the taste or texture of something made at the restaurant. My wife's pizza was tasty yet the crust was tough and chewy. The atmosphere where we were seated was not great for a night out.

Okay this was AWFUL. The “carbonara” is just cream and onion (in my 30 years, never have I ever heard or seen anyone put ONION in a carbonara). The real kicker for me was the arancini - which was rancid. Aside from them being soggy and floppy, there was some very strong off dairy smell and taste and it was inedible (as someone who loves smelly and mouldy cheese, this was NOT a normal smell cheese). The only edible thing was the mozarella sticks - because how do you mess up reheated frozen pre-made food? Genuinely no idea how this place is in business. Absolute waste of money

We stopped into this amazing rustic Italian restaurant around 5.00pm on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant wasn't busy at that time and we felt so comfortable and well cared for by the friendly, efficient staff members. I would thoroughly recommend Tomato Brothers for amazing atmosphere and friendly staff and awesome food (also their vegan menu selection). Yummmmm.

Went there on an Our Deal voucher to "check it out" and to see the neighbourhood. Let me first say the SERVICE was incredible. The young lass was on the job from hello. We had our young three year old lad with us and the atmosphere was very conducive with colouring books and colouring sticks. We ordered his kids meal of Carbonnara right away. A wine corkage of $4 per bottle is respectable. The adults started with the voucher inclusive Dips & Pizza Bread Trio of dips served with garlic and mozzarella pizza bread, (normally $10.95). For mains my father-in-law found the pasta marinara (normally $19.95) to be tasty and of good size for value. My Mother-in-law had the Rainforest pasta, she too was pleased with its flavour having just the required amount of spice. My wife and I shared a large half-half Veggie Rainforest and Tassie Smoked Salmon Pizza...YUMMY. The base was PERFECT and the flavours melded well. Overall it was a good evening and everyone walk away...

Quite disappointed with the outcome of dinner. I ordered a menu item from their regular menu and began consuming the dish only to find meat chunks. Once I asked about this, I found out that they "accidentally" used the meat sauce and not the vegetarian sauce. The poor staff member who had to apologise cleary was disgusted with the outcome of the staff who prepared this order. Think twice being vegan or vegetarian, I do believe this has happened more then once and I have previously been lied to about this hense why I didn't think of anything unusual while consuming the dish as there wasn't a taste of meat at all just the look. So if you care about your ethical or religious values, please reconsider coming here as they clearly give no cares about preparing the correct order which makes me concerned how they are with cross...

My partner and I were wanting pizza last night and instead of ordering from the usual chain, we decided to support our local businesses and go to tomato brothers. Unfortunately, we were super disappointed with the result. The flavour of the pizza was good but not amazing, probably 6/10, but the base was so awful!! It was actually hard to eat and felt like a bought base from the grocery store that had been sitting in the fridge for weeks. The arancini balls were just huge balls of cheese with no flavour which was also a let down. The most disappointing thing is ordering food and thinking I could’ve made this myself, and it probably would’ve been better. This is not what a business should want their customers to think. This was our first time here and it will be our last unfortunately, just a...
