EDIT: Thank you for your answer, we will definitely come back !!
Went for dinner on the weekend. Ordered 3 tapas and 1 special. After 45 minuts we got the first 2 appetizers, after another 25 mins one the special tofu dish and then… nothing. After 90 minuts since ordering the patatas bravas -which I consider an appetizer- had not arrived, no one said anything about that and we decided to leave and eat a sandwich at home😅 Also, the -very friendly- staff didnt know we were waiting for another dish, didnt apologise, didnt ask if we were hungry or if we were satisfied. We spent $185 for 3 dishes (2 of those were quite small tapas), 4 or 5 drinks and 2 wines. Not too much, but also enough to require a restaurant kind-of service, right?! Now, its not great when you take your non-vegan partner out for dinner and you leave hungry and drunk😅. If being slow is a strategy to make people drink more- I dont like that. If they were understaffed- I understand, but I dont think they were. I just stopped working in hospitality after 9 year, 4 of those as a manager in Europe, and I was expecting SOME kind of apology, or just a nice word to explain why we couldnt eat a whole meal in 1.5 hours which in my standards should be enough time even for a dessert (which I would have loved to try but I was literally still hungry for savory and scared it was gonna take another 30 mins). I would never rate a business with nice staff and nice food less than 4-5 stars, but I was really upset coz I thought this was gonna be my next weekly local, and I think timing and being humble is as important as food. Great branding… but I want to eat more!! I will be happy to try again in a few months and give a better rate😊 This is not an angry review, just an opinion. I might just have...
Read moreThis place used to be great but I guess there’s a reason why it was empty on a Saturday night now. We were at the front for a good few minutes & 3 staff just standing around all failed to greet us. When we made our way inside we then had to take it upon ourselves to ask for a table. One of the menus we were given was missing 2 pages. 2 items of the already limited menu were scribbled out in texta. The mocktail I ordered was 1 of the worst I’ve ever had & when we left it full they didn’t even ask to replace it or ask why I didn’t drink it. The potato dish was so spicy it was inedible & when we mentioned this to the waitress, again no apologies were made or any attempts to rectify. Described as smoky tomato yet we were both coughing after our first bite. Having the sauce placed on top (rather than on the side) also meant that the potatoes were soggy. The “crème brulee ” was a sloppy panna cotta at best & had no caramelised crunchy top (we didn’t bother eating this either). The pickles were sliced so thinly it’s a wonder you could taste them at all. The eggplant was cooked well but the dish itself was overpowered with salt. When we returned to the front counter we were not asked how our meals were. We were not asked “how was everything”. We were not asked anything at all; in fact the only thing out of the servers mouth was “$108”. Absolute rip off for mediocre service & underwhelming food. Plastic chairs are super uncomfortable too. Despite the name, we won’t come again. PS it’s very obvious by the lack of response to all the similar reviews on here that the owners and/or managers...

Revisited and had a much quicker service. Sat in a better part of the restaurant and not tucked away in the far back corner. Dishes were all tasty and food came out at a more reasonable time.
8th Aug 2020, 4 stars My partner had booked online and requested a spot inside the restaurant for my birthday dinner. We were quickly greeted upon arrival but were lead to the far back of the restaurant into a semi indoor/outdoor courtyard. Although the heater was on it was still cold when the breeze came through. The table was slanted due to an unlevel ground so it was not very comfortable or romantic. Smokers used the outdoor courtyard which was extremely annoying. But the waitress did address our concern and ask that they move further down. I think smoking should not be allowed on the restaurant property. It's very unpleasant for patrons to smell the fumes from cigarettes. The wait for our tapas was quite long considering it took about 40 mins for our first dish to arrive. All our dishes arrived one at a time at 10 to 15 mins intervals. I would think hot chips would come out quicker. The staff did say they were really busy with a large group but it still didn't negate the fact that we felt like we were forgotten being sat at the far back of the restaurant. :( But at least all the dishes that came out was fresh and hot.
4 stars only because our waittess was lovely and so were the staff. Food and drinks were all 10/10. We will come again and hopefully have a...
