I’d say my review is more like 2 and a half stars. They are purely for the two beautiful staff who happened to serve our table and the live music hired to fill the atmosphere with their lovely sound. Unfortunately that’s where the appeal of the place ended for me 🥲 I think my experience is best summed up in this customers review. I’d like to point out the weird irony of the Stores response, seeing as when one of the people on our table brought up some issues they were having with the food, we were greeted with quite an aggressive response from who I can only assume was the manager. As someone who has worked in hospitality, I have a suggestion that would be agreeable for the management to undertake. Maybe refrain from blaming your customers with an accusatory tone of any kind. Speaking from personal experience, you have a smoother transaction with a customer when you offer solutions to problems they may have created rather than blaming them and offering no help to resolve the issue. I am obviously referring to a few specific problems we had, but honestly you could apply this to any situation with a customer, which to me seems to be the most basic in proper customer communications. I should mention that I was unfortunately disappointed with my time here seeing as most of the reviews of this place are quite lovely. So I’m willing to give this place the benefit of the doubt and say hopefully they were just having an off day, not unfamiliar with this...

We were disappointed. They state they’re a cafe and bar so we thought we’d take a punt on coffee. Both mugs of latte were very milky, likely just one shot, and tasted pretty rubbish anyway. No soft drinks available other than juice. The light meals we ordered were slow and no hotdog bun for the hotdog. I generally welcome live music but here the soloist’s vocals were coming through the speakers in the ceiling in an ear piercing manner that only made the wait for the food even more painful. Service, food and drink didn’t match the...

Atmosphere is lovely as you are right at the foreshore. Drinks were fine. Needs improvement on the food, as other reviewers said that it's come overcooked. My schnitty came in dark brown like this. It's dry. My friends ordered burgers and all the patties were also dry. The salad was nice tho, I liked the dressing. We were starving so we ate what we were given, but thinking about it, there're other options at the foreshore with better food. I may come back for drinks and live music, but will think twice to order food.
