A true local gem that ticks every box for a dumpling & noodle restaurant as far as I’m concerned! Good value for money, the dishes come out piping hot, the ordering process is quick and seamless and the food tastes amazing. The crunch on the pan-fried dumplings! That’s what it’s about! I also love the noodle dishes and the fresh soy milk, all great and would come to try other dishes again. Wait time isn’t long but it can get busy during peak meal times. Try it out!

Ordered the DanDan noodles which is essentially egg noodles in Sesame/SzeChuan pepper sauce. But the spice level is gentle and flavour is not compromised. The plus side is that the noodles also comes with lots of fresh vegetables and minced pork. Overall, an enjoyable dish. Negative - Service and atmosphere are basic and it’s a place to just eat and leave.

Great food option in Forest Hill Chase shopping centre. Xiao long bao are nice and juicy, pan fried dumplings are consistently great flavour, although the skins are something on the thicker side. The braised beef noodle soup is delicious, as is the stewed beef soup as a chilli-free option for the kids. Can leave you feeling a bit thirsty afterwards.

Baowei has remained my go-to restaurant whenever I go to Forest Hill Chase. The service is quick, and their dumpling-game is strong. Their steamed Xiaolongbao are tasty, but I tend to gravitate towards their Pot-Sticker Pan Fried Dumplings. Slurping up that small amount of juice within the pan-fried dumplings is the best bit!

Had lunch at this resto, and ordered Dan-dan noodles. This is another variety of Dan-dan noodles. It’s pretty good variant, the flavour was good. Combination of cucumbers and carrots (a lot of them) with minced pork were perfect. It brought up the crunchiness from the two vegetables and elevated the whole experience.

Interesting and yummy noodle soup with a kind of peanut soup. We had traditional dumplings which were decent too. Spring onion cakes were alright, bit too think for our liking. Overall a good experience. Would go back to try other noodles and the pan fried pork dumplings which looked pretty good.
