I went there on a thursday afternoon for lunch around 1.30ish. Not really busy and was seated inside, it was my first experience at a Gami store and I was looking forward to it. Service was ok, though the wait staff could do with a bit more training. The food came out at a reasonable time after ordering. I didn't order chicken, I ordered one of my favourite korean dishes;Tteokbokki, stir fried rice cakes. Ive eaten this at alot of korean bbq places so i know what to expect. I visited the store specifically just because they had it on the menu and i didnt want to go to the city to eat it. It was a massive disappointment, the point of the dish is rice cakes with maybe noodles, egg and fish cake mixed in on top. Somehow my dish came out as noodles with some ricecakes and not the other way around. I felt like it was just mama noodles with bits of ricecake and to be honest I felt a bit cheated. The sauce was spicy just the way I like but I felt like they were using it to disguise poor ingredients as some of the veg tasted not quite right. Presentation of the food was very poor, not the level I expect from a restaurant. Not too sure if this is the level of food served in other Gami stores but if it is I'm disappointed.

There’s no better combo than Korean fried chicken and cheese! 🍗🧀 Melbourne’s favourite Korean fried chicken joint Gami never disappoints! They’ve recently launched some EPIC new menu items that you definitely don’t want to miss! 🤩 These are some of the MUST TRIES ⬇️⬇️⬇️ 🌟 NEW Pane Rose Chicken ($50) - Crispy boneless chicken drizzled in a rich and creamy rose sauce 🍅 served around a toasted pane bread bowl 🍞 filled with melted corn cheese 🧀 Gather your friends and fam up for this super fun dip n dine experience! 🤗 🍗 Unmissable Chicken ($52) - 5 of their best-selling flavours in 1! No more hard decisions - this one’s my new go-to! 🙌 🧀 Chicken Corndue ($45) - Gami’s famous take on the cheese fondue! It’s SO ADDICTIVE and the cheese pulls are insane! Truly a cheese lover’s dream come true! 🤤 🍚 Bibimbap ($16) - Gami’s newest Bargain Menu item! Choose from beef, spicy chicken, or kimchi - both delicious AND healthy! ✨ 🥔 Potato Heaven ($16.5) - A visit to Gami isn’t complete without their signature potato dish! Always a table favourite 👏 🍹 Gami Special Drinks - The mocktails and Gami Ade were actually SO GOOD! Highly recommend the Tangerine flavour 🍊

Worst Gami experience is all I could say. This branch definitely destroyed the reputation of the OG Gami. We have been loving Gami and haven’t stopped visiting all these years, however this branch really disappointed us to the next level. 1. Green grape soju was from a new brand and it tasted yucky. Waitress had no idea if the grape soju refers to green grape or normal grape, we had to ask 3 different staffs for the answer. 2. Corn cheese and corn were well separated. Cheese not completely melted and became hard and chewy. 3. Fried Teokppokki shown in menu but served in not fried. 3. Kimchi pancake or cabbage pancake? It seemed like kimchi flavored pancake with cabbage in it. It was nicely cooked outside, but inside was still batter. Gami head manager please inspect the food quality in this store.

Has dinner here tonight with a few friend. We were starving and ordered a lot of sides as well as a main serving of the chicken. Firstly they were provided us little tiny bowls that are supposed to be full with radish but instead had like 6 pieces in each....seriously. We order and 10 minutes later start getting our dishes. The teokkboki sauce was so watered down it was tasteless with a bit of spice and the japchae noodles were literally so long it was so hard to serve and eat.. Please cut your noodles!.. 50 minutes later theres no chicken in sight. Somone comes over and asks us if we have received our chicken we say no and then she says ok we wait for another 10 minutes...nothing. other customer who have come after us have by now received their chicken and are half way through their meal. At this point we complain and they say oh sorry misunderstanding we thought you received your chicken and offer us a discount on next time we come in. Clearly by reading other comments its a common theme here. Extreme lack of service....let's offer a discount everytime we stuff up instead of working on the service to avoid the same problems. Overall worst gami i have been to out of all the...
