Little Red Bluff aka Turtle Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

Paid cash for my coffee and was told there was a surcharge? The reason I pay cash is so I don't have to pay extra money then advertised! Staff handed me my coffee with here fingers over the mouth piece and if that's a large coffee then almost certain it was a small. I get it it's Elwood and prices are higher then most places but don't Rip off the people who keep your business running. Haven't eaten in because the cafe looks dirty. Get some rail guards for your window doors so you don't get so much dust and dirt from under the gaps. Food display case looks disgusting. If the items are plastic or moldy off food will definitely not eat there and the display case looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months! Adding a surcharge on a sat morning is terrible business I definitely will not be returning! Get your act together my most reviews on here are clearly made by the staff or owners of the place so don't flash off your dishes if that's not actually what people...

I don’t know where to start.

This place used to be best in Elwood. I was here 2 weeks back. Food came out so quick & full of flavours. We used to be regular’s here but not anymore. Worst food ever now. Everything looks so disorganised. Specially when it comes to food. We ordered chilli scrambled, scrambled eggs, poached eggs & a toastie. All came out on different times. Like sitting in a Chinese take out. Chilli scrambled eggs was to salty & full of oil no flavour at all. Scrambled eggs was over cooked & salty, my partner’s poached eggs was well cooked along with burnt toast & to top it off we had to wait for our burnt toastie for more the 25 minutes.

Will not recommend this cafe to anyone anymore in Elwood. Specifically when we have better options in & around...

EAT HERE. Today I had the Zatar eggs - brilliantly Dukkah-ed. Previous Review Today I had their Chilli Scrambled Eggs - Very Good. Previous Review Very cold Tuesday, Lunchtime, August. The establishment looked to seat about 50(guess) with some outdoors, 10 seats taken. I thoroughly enjoyed a toasted Reuben sandwich, the corned beef was topped by the Mustard, which balanced out the Pickles. The Food/Chef were excellent. The Waiter was excellent.
