Went to get a coffee and bought a small latte and a babychino to go. While inputting the order the babychino was shown as $1 but the owner decided to make it 3.50 on it. I was still ok thinking hey at least he'll make a decent coffee and a babychino. However sadly I got mediocre coffee while the babychino was just froth from the coffee I had. There wasn't even a small amount of milk on it. So the kid didn't wanna have it and I truly can't blame them. Had to just throw it out come upstairs to Godiva and buy another babychino for $2 and it was truly nice with milk and even a small chocolate on top of it. I feel ripped off. Adding the photos to show the difference

Had a lovely warm muffin and iced coffee to eat in. Both were yummy, but my coffee was served in plastic, with a plastic lid, plastic straw and plastic spoon. I eat in to avoid using wasteful disposable cups...and have a reusable cup in my bag for if I need to take away. Not good enough Muffin Break, especially as you have something about keeping cups out of landfill displayed in your cafe!

These chain stores are consistent wherever you go. So it’s often the people that make it work. These owners are nice but twice now I’ve been served by someone who struggles to understand English. But they are trying their best. The muffins are always good and the food is always served quickly. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram and stroller friendly.

I'm not often one to write reviews, but I feel compelled to. Mum and I decided to have a coffee and sausage roll at Muffin Break Doncaster. Several things were extremely disappointing about our experience here.

Firstly, trying to find a clean table as a task, very unhygienic. It wasn't a busy time either.

Secondly, mum had a free, loyalty coffee, to which they seemed very unhappy to redeem. If a company offers a loyalty program, why the attitude when people want to redeem it?

Thirdly, the sausage roll was $8 and for that exorbitant price, one would expect that it would be edible, at the very least. It was far from that. Not only was it microwaved, it was tasteless, dry and I could hardly cut it with my knife. I refused to continue and sought a refund. I was met with a lady that may not have understood my issue and I was passed on to the potential owner. They both did not say a word to me and after a bit, she just slammed the money on the counter. I was left doubtfounded regarding the attitude of the staff and the utter lack of professionalism. This branch gives Muffin...

every time i go to this muffin break i get interrogated by the male barista in the hat if i actually work in the centre or not when i ask for the centre discount - always in an extremely passive aggressive way to the point where I just don’t want to come here anymore. My workplace doesn’t have a uniform & i was wearing a different companies hoodie (which I had bought & had no affiliation with the company) this automatically meant to him that i worked there. when he asked me why i had a second job at this particular place i was made to feel embarrassed to let him know as everyone knows things are tight with the cost of living. i really don’t like being treated this way & feel it was extremely unfair. if this is what its going to take every time i want to just get a tiny little discount i rather go somewhere else. no need to gatekeep a small 50c discount which i am...

Over the last couple of weeks going there. Ive been absolutely disgusted with the hygene of the store. For instance:

-one of the girls put a tray of food on the ground while she moved stuff around, when there was a bench next to her to use.

-i've never seen the baker hair in a bun. Hair is either in a ponytail which can still lead to hair in the food or their hair is down.

-evertime i've baught a coffee from there, it's always tasted stale or that something hasnt been cleaned properly.

I've seen a lot of customers get upset at the employees because they either stuff up or is too slow which must be because its unorganized. I've seen 6 people at 1 register trying to work through all the customers without getting anything ready for them. I know if i was working in that situation i'd get...
