I visited R Bros Cafe during my last trip to Melbourne, and I must sayâit was an unforgettable experience! Before my trip, I researched must-try items in Australia, and âbeer and coffeeâ stood out. I assumed Melbourne would have coffee shops on every corner, just like the U.S., but that wasnât the case. Luckily, on the last day before leaving, my friend and I discovered this gem for breakfast, approx 20 miles from Downtown in Cranbourne North and Iâm so glad we did!
The food quality exceeded all expectationsâfrom the freshly baked bread to the premium bacon, meat, and eggs, every ingredient was beyond excellent. The coffee was absolutely amazing, rich, and flavorful. What impressed me even more was their dedication to qualityâI had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Ruby and Rinku Singh, who shared that they personally visit farms weekly to source real cage-free organic eggsâand you could truly taste the difference!
The cafe also has a special gluten-free menu, which was a relief for my friend, who has gluten allergies. The hospitality was exceptional, from the barista to the chefâeveryone was warm and welcoming.
If youâre in Melbourne, R Bros Cafe is a must-visit. They donât compromise on quality, and their passion for great food and coffee truly...
Read moreStaff were very nice and accommodating! The food was pretty tasty and well seasoned (I had the classic Spanish omelet without prawns, the owner was kind enough to offer to exchange the prawns for chicken which was not only good service but was a yummy addition!). Bonus points for making most of their own bread, including focaccia, which was delicious! I couldnât really see or taste the bacon that was listed as an ingredient for my dish on the menu, but it was still very tasty. The only mark down for me was really only due to the drinking glasses and cutlery not looking super clean, as well as some spots in the cafe looking a bit dirty, such as the floor near our table and the curtain seperating the kitchen from the dining area. I also found it to be quite hot in there. I did have hot food and a hot drink which definitely would have contributed, but I think accounting for that is important to increase customer satisfaction. Overall, good place for a quick...
Read moreI've been to a few cafe's and have had many different foods and drinks. This place feels like a nice little diner/cafe in the states, with incredible friendly service, good food and for a good price. I got the waffles, my husband got the brisket sandwich. The brisket, can't even describe the level of incredible it was, but with the thin slices of apple and cheese and the fresh bread made it far better than any burger either of us have had. The waffles were airy, had a slight crunch and not too sweet even with the addition of chocolate syrup and ice cream. Fruit on the waffles were also fresh and delish. Drinks were served and once again presented well and well made, good sizes with options for takeaway or dine in. We also got a mini almond croissant for later and it was superb đ. Will recommend this place over and over, little hidden gem. I would add photos but we demolished our food before we even thought to...
