Ribs & Burgers South Morang — Restaurant in Melbourne

I love this place, but for some reason, their ribs and rump are always not warm enough!! But I’m giving three stars because of a rude asian male waiter. We were eating and he came and asked if you need anything, we asked for tap water, and he said its self service and then in front of us served water to someone else! The restaurant was half empty, and I know its self service if you are busy, not when you have nothing to do. Not sure why he asked if we need anything!!! Considering our hands was greasy with ribs, it was nice if he could give us water!I have to add that the place for self service water and washing hands is a total hazard! (Look at picture) You can easily damage your head specially when you are washing your hands, also jugs are taller than filtered water tap and again you should bend and fill it acrobatically. Staff were not rude but not very pleasant either. No smiles and abrupt conversations.

Shoddy service. Not impressed having to request cutlery for a steak after it has been served. Then again another set for the Peri Peri Chicken breasts. No serviettes on table and not provided until requested either. Overall had to make about 5-6 requests for little things which could have been offered proactively.

You are not running a McDonald's. Please offer a level of dine in service to charge the prices you do.

Absolutely terrible service and terrible policy. Food average at best. Placed online order and pre paid. Took food home and noticed they forgot part of the order. Called them up and they offered to have me come back and collect chips. 20 minute round trip but the ribs will go cold. Asked them to remake new ribs and i will bring these back. They said yes but when i arrived they only remade one rack and said they are not authorised to make another. So all that for their error and the food was terrible. Will never go back.
