Saigon Kitchen — Restaurant in Melbourne

I usually get soup noodles. The food is good. The down side of this place is the consistency and customer service… I’ve ordered take away noodle soup bunch of times, but now I have to make sure to check before leaving the place as often they forget to pack either the sauce or chilli. Spicy level of the spicy beef noodle soup varies from none to super hot depending on the day too. Lol

The owners (the couple?) are often in a bad mood and yelling at each other or to the poor staff. I don’t enjoy eating in because of that.

They don’t have name or number system for take away either, so it’s always confusing whose order they have brought out… there’s only 3 places we can go for lunch in Nexus, so i’ll probably still go back, but I hope...

I decided to check this place because of its proximity. It's located in an industrial area, which is not particularly interesting. On a cold day, I ordered the beef pho for $16, excluding credit card surcharges. It comes beautifully presented, but the taste is more important to me. The rare beef was freshly cut and cooks well in the soup. The broth is clear and delicious, and there's no MSG. The taste is comparable to the restaurants I reviewed in Springvale. It's definitely worth a trip. Note: The restaurant is closed as of 13 May 2024. It has been replaced with Epicurex Cafe....

Have no connections to the business just a local looking for more food options near by and this one was a hidden gem amongst the in the industrial estate. Lovely clean restaurant, spacious, owners are extremely friendly and the restaurant is kid friendly with high chair available. We tried a variety of dishes and all were very tasty and generous portions. They even have happy hour drinks too. Fabulous food and will certainly be back really soon! Open for...
