0 star. Absolutely terrible from the moment we walked in. Had 3 different waiters try to figure out where our tables was. As we walked over they had tried sitting another family at our table. We were given 2 drinks/food menus between 7 people. Waited a good 10 minutes for them to ask us for drinks order. Came back about 10 minutes later with our drink and we ordered entrees and mains. Entrees took a while to come out. 2 were forgotten (2 serves of Dim sims) and we were given 2 glasses with the jugs of soft drinks for 7 people. We waited and waited and waited... and waited...... and waited... for mains.. yay! one came.. wasn't ours. Was for the table next to us, that they originally tried sitting at our table.. waited some more for mains meals... oh then we waited some more.. my toddler was becoming quite difficult as we had no food and were just sitting and waiting. We had asked what is going on, waiter said 5 more minutes. Another 15 minutes later, we were furious, as we'd now been waiting an hour and a half, we were ready to leave, actually packed our bags and leaving the table...then they walked our with 2 mains, and almost gave us an extra rice which was also the tables next to us. We noticed people had come in had dinner, desert and left before we even got mains. Was not offered any more drinks at all. Decided to stay and eat, eventually rest of the food came except one dish. Another 15 minutes later, An omelette. Finally we had pur food and eating. Some was good, other dishes terrible. The fried rice tasted absolutely disgusting, toddler wouldnt even eat it. Finished what we wanted of could stomach and ready to leave had to wait another 10 minutes to pay. The bill was $310 we asked if we can have a discount and we're told with an attitude that we already got a $5 discount. Never coming here again, and not once was there an apology for late...

👎🏼👎🏼 I work in food service so I am not the type to complain like this but this was ridiculous

My family and I went here for Mother's Day dinner, was a pretty full restaurant. Had a booking for a Table for 7 at 6pm, only 2 menu/drink menus put out. Got SOME entrees pretty fast had to ask for the rest after about 25mins later, which was only 2 serves of steamed dim sims, again had to wait a while for those to come out after asking. Wasn't once offered more drinks or given any reassurance anything was still coming. Had to ask for more glasses when given water and jugs of soft drink. Waited an additional 1hr 30mins for our main meals which was only 5 mains. People who got there after us had already finished eating, and at this point it was already 8pm then asked where our food was they said 5 minutes, 15 minutes later we were getting ready to walk out as we had a 2 year old who was past bed time and lived 45 mins from home. Then they walk in with our rice and ONE entree we wanted as a main. Decided to stay, finally got the rest of the food then had to wait another 15mins for the last main which was an omelette. Food was not very good rice tasted like tap water and mains were not very good either. Finally got ready to leave had to wait another 10 minutes to pay and then bill was $310 we asked if we can have a discount and we're told with attitude we already got a $5 discount. Multiple families and couples had the exact same issue as us and barely got a discount aswell. One couple even applauded when they finally got their food. No apologises, no...

Big rip off for a banquet! Such small serving size for a minimum of two people?? Listed it stated $45 minimum of two people eating, with the small portions I didn't expect it to double to $90 which I believe should have been stated if so?

I've attached a picture of one of the "mains" for two for reference.

When I tried to bring this up the service was horrendous the owner when questioned about serving size immediately started raising his voice saying this is how it's done in Australia "how long have you lived here' (mind you I have lived here my whole life)

The wait time took over an hour.

We also ordered Peking duck, the team continued to wrap them (with their bare hands touching the wrap) even when we stated were happy to do it ourself as my mum can't have too much of the duck sauce due to her diabetes.

Updated; We definitely understand it was for two hence why we order the FULL size Peking duck to go alongside it, between the soup and the mains we waited a full hour with still nothing served, I saw previous reviews about the wait time and service but really wanted to give this restaurant a chance rather than driving out to the city for Peking duck.

I definitely would caution future customers about this, portion size and the owners customer service as he continuously talked over anything I tried to say.

In addition, as mentioned previously we did speak to the team about wrapping the duck ourselves however they insisted until my mum persued it for...

First time here. nice old school feel where seating is so tightly packed youre almost sitting with the next table. Food was good. averagely priced. each main roughly $20+ but we ordered oneof the banquets. entres were spring rolls and chicken soup. nicely done. decently flavoured. the meat dishes were cooked well and full of flavour. i love sweet n sour pork and there was a sweet without sour but still nice. more like a honey chicken. the rice was super bland but ok when you eat it with the other dishes. garlic prawns were fire explosively good flavour. desserts were ok. deep fried choc+ice cream and banana fritter with ice cream good but dont put sprinkles on it. it ruined it. banquets were decently sized and we will try the big banquet with the lobster in it next. Thanks we will see you again.

WOW! Don’t sleep on Silver Chopsticks. I’ve been walking past but today we bit the bullet and tried it for dinner. I couldn’t be happier. He most friendly and helpful staff and I’ve had possibly the best vegetarian spring rolls and honey chicken of my life. We’re already planning what we’re going to try next time we come. Don’t mind the half eaten dishes, we got too impatient to wait before I took the picture.
